Catterick Racecourse (established 1783) is located approximately 240 miles from London, 50 miles from Leeds and 35 miles from York.
HOW TO GET TO CATTERICK RACECOURSE
By road: The Racecourse is situated just off the A1 approximately 5 miles south of Scotch Corner. The exit at Catterick Village is the most suitable point to leave the A1. The Racecourse is situated on the outskirts of the village and well signposted from the A1.
Adjacent to A1, 1m NW of town on the A6136.
By rail: Kings Cross to Darlington or Northallerton. A United bus service runs from Darlington Station on races days or iIt's a 15 mile journey by taxi.
By air: RAF Leeming is the nearest airport with landing facilities for light aircraft (10 miles from the Racecourse). Helicopter landing is permitted at the Racecourse by prior arrangement only.

The Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure will allow racegoers access to all of the main racecourse facilities, including the Parade Ring, Winners’ Enclosure, Totesport Betting Shop and Tote Credit Club, as well as offering panoramic views of the Flat and National Hunt racecourse itself from either of the two tiered grandstands or the roof-top terrace above the cafeteria.

Flat: Catterick Racecourse is a left-handed oval of 1 mile and 180 yards almost flat, from the Catterick turn it is a little short of half a mile. Characterised by very sharp turns. Draw Advantage: low numbers.
Hurdle/Chase: left-handed oval shaped circuit of 1¼ miles. Undulating with sharp turns. Run-in 280 yards.
