HOW TO GET TO DONCASTER RACECOURSE
By road: Doncaster racecourse is easy to find off the motorway network including: M1(jnc 32), M18 (jncs 3/4), A1M
By rail: Doncaster Racecourse is just two-and-a-half miles from Doncaster Train Station, which is on the main London-Edinburgh line. Journey times by rail from London are just an hour-and-three-quarters, and three hours from Edinburgh. Shuttle Buses available from the interchange at regular intervals.
By air: The new Robin Hood (International) Airport is less than seven miles from Doncaster Racecourse. The course is also within easy reach of Manchester, Leeds and East Midlands international airports. Helicopter landing is permitted at the Racecourse by prior arrangement and with appropriate documentation.

Flat: There is a straight course of 1 mile. A new Mile Course has been constructed to come into the Round Course at a tangent. The left-handed Round Course is about 1 mile 7½ furlongs in circumference and all races beyond a mile are run on this course. The St Leger Course is part of the Round Course, the distance being 1 mile 6 furlongs 132 yards. Draw Advantage: none
NH: Left-handed pear-shaped circuit of 2 mile. A fine galloping course with a 247 yard run-in.
