League leaders Morton will travel North this weekend to play 3rd placed team Brechin City. Morton have now lost their last two away games, and I believe this could be the reason the bookies have them priced at 6/5 to win, and I feel that this price is very generous for a team sitting at the top of the league.
I watched Brechin City playing against my home team Ayr Utd two weeks ago, and although Brechin C won the match 2-1, they didn’t play very well at all, and if truth could be told they could have lost this game by at least 3-4 goals, as Ayr Utd attacked Brechin the whole game.
The only problem that day was that the Ayr Utd strikers just couldn’t put the ball in the net; Morton will not be let Brechin City off as lightly as the Morton squad have a better strike force than Ayr Utd and if Morton can create as many chances as Ayr Utd did against Brechin, they should win this match comfortably.
