Analysis:After Inter Milan's record breaking run of 17 matches of wins have been ended by Udinese in midweek, they will now look to return to winning ways against a Livorno side that have won just once in their last 13 games played.
Livorno are hanging by a thread. They have the chance to play UEFA Cup football but it seems to be heading towards battling against the threat of relegation as well. Their recent matches have not been impressive as they could managed only draws against bottom club Ascoli as well as Siena. Daniele Arrigoni, their coach was sacked and then brought back into the team.
Livorno will hope to repeat what Udinese did and pull off a draw and will be banking on their good home form whereby they have only lost once at home and have conceded just six. It will not be easy to tame Inter Milan who will want to get back to winning ways after the 1-1 draw with Udinese on Wednesday.
To date Inter Milan have amassed 67 points from 25 games which is the best to date in Serie A so far. Roberto Mancini's side also have a 14 points lead over A.S Roma in second spot. Mancini knows his side have a crucial Champions League match with Valencia so a win would lift their spirits here ahead of that match.
The last time they met at the San Siro in October Inter Milan won 4-1. However Inter must be wary as it ended goalless last season at the Stadio Armando Picchi.
The home side will be able to recall the likes of Stefano Fiore and Samuel Kuffour who have recovered froma flu bug. Stefano Morrone and Antonio Filippini will start this match from the start after coming on as substitutes in midfield in midweek. David Balleri and Marc Pfertzel will battle it out to start this match with Balleri the most likely to start this match. Dario Knezevic and Stefano Fanucci who plays in defense are out as they are injured.
Inter Milan will miss the services of on loan Chelsea player Hernan Crespo who is suspended for diving. Adriano is also out with a muscular injury. Patrick Vieira is out for a month with a knee injury and Esteban Cambiasso is out with a thigh injury. Julio Cesar is likely to get the nod in between the posts.
