A Sports Betting Pick by Stephen
Football: Scottish Premier League
Saturday 5h December Kick Off 12.30pm
Falkirk (12th) Home Record W1 D3 L2
Rangers (2nd) Away Record W2 D2 L1
Falkrik sit bottom of the SPL table with just one win in their 13 games this season. Its been a very tough first season in charge for Boss Eddie May as his side will likely face a tough relegation battle over the coming season.
It was always likely to be a tough act to follow previous boss John Hughes who got the side promoted and got them to their first Scottish Cup Final in 12 seasons last season. Indeed Falkirk faced their former Boss and his Hibs side last week in Edinburgh and lost 2-0 but there were more encouraging signs from the game.
They did have a goal disallowed at 0-0 and created a few good chances. The previous week they got their first win of the season over Hamilton in a 2-0 scoreline while managed a 3-3 draw with Celtic in their previous game. In those 2 games they scored five goals which was equal to the amount they had scored in the previous 10 games. Falkirk have certainly improved in recent weeks but a visit from Champions Rangers will be a big test.
Rangers crashed to their first SPL defeat of the season at Aberdeen last week. It was the first time they have faced defeat in the SPL since March. Rumours of a training ground bust up between Kenny Miller and Madjid Bougherra makes it a testing time for Walter Smiths side as they travel to Falkirk.
Walter Smith was disappointed with his sides defeat last weekend and unhappy at the lack of creativity in the side. However they did create chances and Kris Boyd will be especially disappointed at failing to hit the target on a few occasions. Rangers have also crashed out of the champions league with a terrible showing losing all their home games convincingly and managing 2 draws away from home.
This does give Rangers the onus to concentrate soley on domestic football but Celtic are in the same boat while Dundee United and Hibs are making a real fight of it in the title battle. Rangers cant afford a slip up here especially as they will have to play Celtic, Hibs and Dundee United away from home over the next month. I expect them to be well fired up for this.

VERDICT
It would be hard to imagine Rangers slipping up two weeks in a row. So while 4/9 may be a put off but I can't see anything but a Rangers win.
