Analysis:

Reading travels to face already relegated Derby knowing that they must get a win here in order to avoid being relegated. If Fulham managed to win against Portsmouth then Reading will be relegated no matter what the outcome in their match.

Steve Coppell has stated that his side will go and get the win and then will also need to depend on the outcome of other games to see if they will stay in the Premiership come end season.

As for Derby, they have long been relegated to the Championships and will be heading down as the worst side in the history of the Premier League as it is now impossible for them to surpass Sunderland's previous record low tally of 15 points.

They have also only managed one win the whole season which came at home to Newcastle back in September but Paul Jewell is still optimistic his side can get their first win here.

Jewell will however be boosted with the return of players on loan spells most notably Stephen Pearson, Mo Camara, Gary Teale, Lewin Nyatanga and Stephen Bywater. On the plus side, midfielder David Jones could also feature after recovery from an ankle injury.

But they will miss the services of Dean Leacock as he is set to undergo surgery on a hernia problem next week, while Jay McEveley (hamstring) will undergo a late fitness test prior to kickoff.

As for the visitors Reading they will miss the services of record-signing Emerse Fae after he refused to play in a reserves match and has been suspended by the club. On the other hand winger Glenn Little faces a late fitness test after picking up a calf injury and Marek Matejovsky is ready to step in if needed.
