The Aggies have gotten off to a nice 3-0 start, but they have played no credible opposition. Indeed they were pushed to overtime but what appears to be a very ordinary Fresno State side.
On the plus side for the Aggies is that the offence have had no difficulty scoring, the flipside is that the mediocre teams they have played have been able to get on the scoreboard fairly easily.
The key will be if the Aggies can get the running game going as going to the air would be unwise against Miami
Miami Hurricanes
The ‘Canes have started the season as many would expect, they have beaten the teams they should, the manner of the defeat at Oklahoma must be a big concern as the much vaunted defence gave away over 50 points.
The big struggle has been on offence, a carry over from last year, it will be at least next season before significant improvement is seen in this department.
The defence, with the exception of the Oklahoma game, has looked among the best in the nation. No team has sent more defensive players to the NFL in recent years than Miami, this trend looks to continue.
The Pick
The key to the game will be the Miami offence, if they can score 25+ points then they should win the game as I expect the defence to be resolute and hold Texas A&M.
