Manchester City
With UEFA Cup qualification potentially going down to 7th place, Manchester City still have good hopes of a European reward this season - as long as they can keep picking up points.
City's recent home record does not look too flash, but the three losses were against Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton while wins over both Tottenham and Portsmouth were good results.
Sven-Goran Eriksson's side seem to have rediscovered some of their form after an indifferent spell and if they can get a couple of goals then that should be enough to beat Fulham
Fulham
Yes - this is probably Fulham's last chance to avoid relegation - and yes they did manage to beat Reading in their last away game - but I'm not a big fan of "need to win" betting.
Let's face it Fulham have been "needing to win" for two months now - and they definately needed to win last week against Liverpool only to lose 0-2 at Craven Cottage.
The Cottagers 1-7-9 away record does not inspire confidence and "must win" games for teams at the wrong end of the table usually end in failure.
Head to head
City have a slight edge over Fulham here, recording with two wins, two draw and a loss in the last five games.
The reverse fixture at Craven Cottage last September was drawn 3-3.
The verdict
City are in better form, playing at home, and facing a side that is so desperate for the win that it may affect their ability to play.
I'll take any price around 1.90 for a home.
