NAC Breda
NAC Breda had an excellent start of the season with the team grabbing a 2-1 win on the road to AZ Alkmaar and continuing their good run from the end of the competition last season in which the team grabbed the third place in the ranking behind PSV and Ajax.
With NAC appointing a new coach over the summer with Maaskant coming over from MVV, things have been working out perfectly in the preparations with the team also beating Cercle Brugge 3-0 in a club friendly last week.
In Alkmaar, NAC Breda grabbed the lead in the first half thanks to a goal from Amoah but just before halftime AZ leveled the score.
In the second half it was once again Amoah finding the net after good work from Reuser and with AZ missing a late chance fifteen minutes from time, NAC Breda were worthy winners.
Willem II Tilburg
Willem II also had a great start of the season beating Ajax 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Demouge and Akgun in the second half.
The visitors had taken the lead in the first half, but a very strong performance from the hosts in the first ten minutes after halftime led to the equalizer by Demouge who headed the ball from a corner kick behind the Ajax goalkeeper.
Ten minutes later Willem II even grabbed the lead with Akgun drilling the ball in the net after a scrimmage on the edge of the box.
With Ajax getting down to ten men five minutes from time, Willem II managed to defend their lead successfully with coach Jonker grabbing the first (unexpected) three points of the season.

The Verdict
Both teams have made a good start of the competition.
What's most important to know about this game is that it's a real derby game between two rivals and therefore very hard to predict.
As we take a look at the previous results we can see that the home side only managed to book 3 wins out of their last 14 meetings in Breda while the match ended in a draw 7 times.
The prices on offer for the home side below evens represent terrible value in my opinion and I would not recommend a bet on the home side at anything below evens given the home record of NAC Breda against Willem II.
The prices that stand out in my opinion are the draw and the AH +0.5 on Willem II with the latter available at a very generous 2.05 at various bookmakers and even 2.15+ at the exchanges.
With both teams drawing seven times in their last 14 meetings in Breda prices around 3.50 for the DRAW seem very much worth taking.
BEST BETTING TIP :
NAC Breda and Willem II to DRAW $3.50
Gooner’s Statistical Value Bet
Willem II AH +0.5 $2.15
