Musselburgh Racecourse is located just off the Tranent Junction of the A1 & the Edinburgh City By-Pass. Simply follow the signs to Musselburgh, and the Racecourse from the A1. There is free car parking next to the Racecourse.
By rail: The nearest train station to Musselburgh Racecourse is Wallyford on the Edinburgh Waverley to North Berwick train line. A free courtesy bus is available from Wallyford station to the Racecourse, returning after racing. The courtesy bus is timed to meet trains from Edinburgh and from North Berwick.
By air: The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport. From Edinburgh Airport Musselburgh Racecourse is 30 minutes away by taxi. The approximate cost from Edinburgh Airport to the Racecourse by taxi is £35 to £45. Taxis from Edinburgh City Centre to the Racecourse cost approximately £18 to £22.
