Edinburgh and Glasgow are both within an hours travelling distance while racegoers from Carlisle, Aberdeen and Inverness can be at the racecourse generally in under two hours.
By rail: Perth is on the main line railway network. There is a regular raceday bus service from central Perth (Mill Street) to the course.
By air: Perth Racecourse is 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport and 20 minutes from Dundee airport. Helicopters can land at the racecourse with prior arrangement and private aircraft may land at nearby Scone Airfield.
