PREVIEW
Everton will host fellow Premier League opponents in West Bromwich Albion, with the teams experiencing very different weekends. In their last match, Everton came from a goal down to beat WIgan 3-1, while West Brom suffered a 3-0 loss at Swansea, leaving them bottom of the pile.
Arteta has been sold to Everton, which was a massive blow, yet the Toffees continue to scrap away and grab points. Since that opening day loss at home to QPR Moyes team have dug in and can never be ruled out of a match, no matter what the score. Although Louis Saha was left out of the side this weekend, I would expect to see him start here as the team cannot afford to start keeping him out for his tweets. That leaves the Everton offence in decent nick, and they really should not be bet against to continue with the way they've been scoring. Indeed, Everton have scored in all their games except that opening 1-0 loss to QPR.
West Brom scored a massive upset at this stage last year when they knocked out Premier League powerhouses Manchester City. They will want to replicate that here but have been in poor form, winning just 1 match in the league so far, new boys Norwich. The rest of the matches have been losses and that means that away from home, you can not fancy them to manage a clean sheet here against a team that has been scoring in every game.
Odemwingie looks like he might just get on the scoresheet should he see enough playing time and I feel West Brom will give enough of a fight to at least score. They have managed goals against the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea and stuck 4 past Bournemouth in the last round of this competition so I think they should be good for at least one here. A win, well that might be too much for them.
