2006-11-29 - Bolton vs Chelsea
A Sports Betting Pick by Gooner
BOLTON
Bolton once again beat Arsenal on Saturday evening - playing their crash n' bash style of route one football - and it wasn't much of a surprise.
But that will not be enough to beat Chelsea who have shown that they are more than capable of handling that on recent visits to the Reebok Stadium.
And with just one win in five games, and very few possible options in his very limited squad Sam Allardyce will have little choice but to bring out his one-trick pony again.
Bolton Home Form

09/09/06 W 1-0 v Watford
19/08/06 W 2-0 v Tottenham
CHELSEA
Chelsea managed to fight back from a halftime deficit at Old Trafford to get a very important point - and it was no surprise that their second half improvement came without impact from with Anderi Shevchenko or Michael Ballack.
These two players currently look far less effective than their reputations, and perhaps the pace of the English game is proving too difficult for these two 30-year olds.
Manager Jose Mourinho is an astute judge, and it would not surprise me to see a younger and more physical line-up for this very different test.

THE VERDICT
Unless Bolton show something new tonight at the Reebok Stadium then it will not be to much of a surprise to see Chelsea simply outmuscle Bolton.
Will Anelka be the missing link? No - he's had his fleeting dash of fame by scoring twice against his old club.
Chelsea should win this in the second half.

BEST BETTING TIP :
The price on Chelsea is low - but there will be a lot of people on it.But a wee wager on the DRAW/CHELSEA option on the HT/FT pays a nice 7/2 (4.50) at Ladbrokes
