Russian Premier League sides seem to have forgotten how to score goals. One boring matchday is followed by another. Perhaps the closing game of the week-end in Russia will be more entertaining than the rest of the fixtures.
Amkar is certainly not giving reason to expect a show in Perm' with the quality of football they are showing this year. Rashid Rahimov is struggling with his team so far. Defensively things still look solid enough, but the build-up play is simply disastrous.

Spartak Moscow
Spartak is another team, which is failing to live up the public and fans' expectations.
Inexperienced joint General Director and Head Coach Valery Karpin is under heavy pressure following the streak of disappointing results not only in terms of figures on the scoreboards, but the picture on the pitch.
The Brazilian impact on Spartak turns out to be too crucial. Key players Alex and Welliton can't tune into last year's standards - as a result Red-Whites look absolutely helpless in attack.
Another point for which Spartak should be blamed is their unprofessional transfer policy. The club management has failed to cover the problematic positions in the current roster leaving the team without genuine wingers. It has forced Karpin to adjust the formation to 4-2-2-2 from last year's 4-2-3-1.
All in all Spartak is still trying to find its' game. To make things worse Alex received a red card and sits out today's match due to suspension.
