Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott are all hoping to start after coming off the bench against United but goalkeeper Manuel Almunia will be out for at least another three weeks after he suffered an ankle injury.
Midfielder Abou Diaby (ankle) is back in full training, while centre-half Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles) is expected back next month.
Stoke City Team News :
For the visitors Stoke, their only casualty remains Jon Walters as he missed the first half of the week's training. He has been suffering with flu, and only took part in gym work on Thursday to assess his fitness.
Meanwhile Jamaica international Ricardo Fuller is sure to start as he has a good goal-scoring record against Arsenal scoring four goals in all competitions against them.
