Dinamo Bucuresti hoped to gain a Europa League spot at the end of the season, but a home draw against Ceahlaul followed by a 0-2 defeat against Steaua Bucuresti in the most important derby in Romanian club football ended their hopes.
Dinamo is another club that will undergo massive changes in the summer transfer period, new investor Ionut Negoita is expected to strengthen the squad which also means that we won’t see some of the actual player.
Coach Cornel Talnar is also expected to leave the club at the end of the season, but that’s not that big of a surprise since he was more like an interim, just like Rafa Benitez at Chelsea.
Dinamo will now travel to Vaslui without some important players, left back Musat is suspended, whilst Boubacar, Matei, Filip and Muteanu are all out through injury.
