East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - According to the Newark Star-Ledger, New York Giants wide receiver Domenik Hixon will be sidelined for the 2010 campaign after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Bradley caught 24 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns last season in 13 games, six starts, for Kansas City. He has totaled 92 grabs for 1,283 yards and nine scores over five seasons with the Chiefs and Chicago, which made him a second round pick in 2005 after his collegiate career at Oklahoma. Tampa Bay also announced the signing of punter Brent Bowden, a sixth round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Virginia Tech.

Eagles sign third-round pick Te'o-Nesheim                                                                                            06/16 13:21:02 ET

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles have signed defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim to a four-year contract.Te'o-Nesheim was selected in the third round of the 2010 draft after a standout collegiate career at Washington. In four years with the Huskies, Te'o-Nesheim finished as the school's all-time leader with 30 sacks and compiled 194 total tackles with eight forced fumbles. He notched 11 sacks as a senior and was a two-time second-team All-Pac-10 selection.

Redskins, Haynesworth at odds                                                                                                                 06/16 13:04:09 ET

Ashburn, VA (Sports Network) - Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth is skipping the team's mandatory minicamp this week and new head coach Mike Shanahan is not happy about it.  Haynesworth signed a reported $100 million contract as a free agent last offseason and the two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle is apparently unhappy about likely playing nose tackle in the team's new defensive scheme.

Shanahan said Wednesday he expected Haynesworth to attend this week's camp after a bonus kicked in April 1. The new coach said he gave Haynesworth's camp a chance to find a new team earlier this spring. "We let Albert know...that we would give him until April 1 to go to any team he wanted in the National Football League," Shanahan said Wednesday. "So if he wasn't pleased about playing nose tackle or any other position we had planned for him, that we would let him take a look at any team he wanted to go to. "But on April 1, when we owed him a check for $21 million dollars, we said if you take that check, we do expect you to be the best defensive end, the best nose tackle -- if we play you at free safety, we expect you to be the best free safety, even though he'd have to lose a little weight. Whatever position we play him at, that he would have to do the best job he possibly could and make the commitment to be the best football player.

"Obviously he took the check. So I was surprised he wasn't here because I thought he did make that commitment once he took that check, that he wanted to be a Washington Redskin and he wanted to do the best thing for the Washington Redskins to help our defense and help our team win. Obviously it didn't go in that direction. So we're quite disappointed."

Haynesworth appeared in 12 games for the Redskins last year and notched four sacks with 37 tackles. He missed four games with an ankle injury. The University of Tennessee product, who turns 29 on Thursday, issued a statement to Comcast Sports Network of Washington in regard to his absence. "The Washington Redskins are a great and storied franchise with an owner in Mr. Snyder that will do anything in his power to win and a fan base that is unrivaled in the NFL," the statement began. "When I signed here after meeting all day with the staff and top executives, and talked about the defense that we would run and what my role would be, I was assured I would have the freedom to play to my strengths and I was excited about the future. After many years in the NFL, I know what it takes for me to perform at my highest level. My number one goal has always been to help my team win, period. It's also important at my position to help free my teammates to make plays, which I've done throughout my career when I've been allowed to play to my strengths. I will continue to work individually to prepare for training camp and the start of the 2010 season." Haynesworth spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Redskins.

Raiders sign longtime Jaguars DT Henderson                                                                                       06/15 23:01:46 ET

Napa, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Raiders signed free agent defensive tackle John Henderson on Tuesday.Henderson, 31, had played his entire eight-year career in Jacksonville after the Jaguars selected him with the ninth overall pick in the 2002 draft out of Tennessee. The 6-foot-7, 335-pound run stopper played in 15 games last season and logged 36 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles. The two-time Pro Bowl selection has played in at least 14 games in each professional season, compiling 29 sacks and eight forced fumbles in 124 total games
