HOW TO GET TO CHELTENHAM RACECOURSE
By road: A40, A46, A435, M4, M5 (Junctions 9,10 or 11)

By bus: Stagecoach service D runs every 10 minutes during the day and between 10 minutes and every hour on Monday to Saturday evenings. The service runs hourly on Sundays.Service 527 also provides a regular service from Cheltenham Centre to Bishops Cleeve and Gotherington via the Racecourse Roundabout. For local Stagecoach information please call 0870 6082608.
By rail: CrossCountry run regular trains to and from Cheltenham Spa to the South West, Wales, Manchester, the Midlands and the North East. A bus link runs from Cheltenham Spa Station from 2 hours before racing, returning after racing, for The Festival and The Open. For other meetings, station taxis will deliver passengers direct to the racecourse and collect after racing. You can alternatively arrive in style by taking a private steam train directly to the racecourse
By air: Ryanair is the official airline partner of Cheltenham Racecourse. They offer flights to and from three local airports. There are helicopter landing services
By Bicycle: There are 52 secure bicycle parks next to the Centaur and Best Mate enclosure entrances

THE CHELTENHAM RACECOURSE
Both the Old Cheltenham Course (first figure below) and the New Cheltenham Course (second figure below) are left-handed ovals of approximately 1½ miles in circumference with special chutes for the starts of races run over 2½ miles and 4 miles. The courses undulate, with an uphill run-in from the last fence of 237 yards.
