HOW TO GET TO NEWBURY RACECOURSE
By road: Racecourse postcode for SAT NAV: RG14 7NZ
From M4 - Juntion 13: Exit the M4 at Junction 13 and join the A34 for Newbury. Follow the signs for Newbury, joining the A339 and follow into Newbury to a set of traffic lights. Continue straight over 2 sets of traffic lights on the large roundabout (Robin Hood). At the next roiundabout (Sainsburys on left), continue straight over remaining on the A339. At the next roundabout (Halsfords on the left), take the first exist left into Queens Road. At the mini roundabout, fork right into Greenham Road and take the 1st right into Racecourse Road leading to the main racecourse entrance.
From M3 - Juntion 9: Exit the M3 at Junction 9 (signed to the Midlands, Newbury & A34). Join the A34 and south of Newbury, leave the A34 at the exit sign posted Newbury B4640. Follow the B4640 towards Newbury and go through Newtown, to the roundabout with A339 Bassingstoke Road. Travel straight over on the dual carriageway. At the large roundabout, go straight over and the next roundabout take the third exit off into Queens Road. At the mini roundabout, fork right into Greenham Road and take the first left into Racecourse Road leading to the main racecourse entrance.
By rail: Newbury Racecourse has its own station, one stop from Newbury Stations, with direct connections to London Paddington and the West.
By air: Landing facilities are available for small planes and helicopters

Flat: the Newbury racecourse is a left-handed oval of about 1 mile 7 furlongs in length. There is a straight mile with slight undulations. The round course joins the straight for about 5 furlongs from the finish. Draw Advantage: High numbers are best on the straight NH: Left-handed oval circuit of 1¾ miles. The fences are fair and the home straight is 5 furlongs. Run-in 255 yards.
