Plumpton Racecourse is located in the heart of the beautiful Sussex South Downs, approximately 45 miles from London, 50 miles from Portsmouth, 63 miles from Southampton and 15 miles from Brighton.

By road: Racecourse postcode for SAT NAV: BN7 3AL
From the M25
- Leave the M25 at Junction 7, follow M23 to Crawley/Gatwick Airport
- When M23 joins the A23 continue towards Brighton
- Leave A23 at A273 towards Hassocks
- Follow A273 and bear right at the bottom og the hill onto the B2112 towards Ditchling
- At Ditchling roundabout turn right onto B2116 towards Plumpton
- Turn left at the Half Moon Pub and follow signs to the racecourse
From Brighton
- Follow A23 northbound and take the first exit (A273 to Hassocks)
- Follow A273 and bear right at bottom of hill onto the B2112 towards Ditchling
- At Ditchling roundabout turn right onto B2116 towards Plumpton
- Turn left at the Half Moon Pub and follow signs to the racecourse
By bus: A direct bus service from Brighton to Plumpton Racecourse is run by Countryliner Coaches. The bus leaves Brighton train station 90 minutes before the first race, returning 30 minutes after the last race. A return ticket is £5.
By rail: Plumpton Station adjoins the Racecourse grounds, and the course entrances are only a 5 minute walk from the platforms. Plumpton is served by a regular train service between London Victoria and Hastings, and there are additional stopping services to Plumpton on racedays.
By air: Gatwick Airport is a 20 minute direct train journey from the Course. Helicopters can land at the racecourse with prior arrangement.
