Salisbury Racecourse is located in a picturesque parkland setting in the town of Esher, Surrey approximately 20 miles from London and 58 miles from Portsmouth.
HOW TO GET TO SANDOWN RACECOURSE
By road: Racecourse postcode for SAT NAV: KT10 9AJ
From London, take the A3 and follow the brown venue signs to Sandown Park.
Alternatively, from the M25 exit at Junction 10 and follow the A3 towards London; exit onto the A307 and follow the brown venue signs. The Portsmouth Road car park is off the A307 Esher High Street directly in front of the main entrance.
By rail: Trains to Esher station for Sandown Park run from London Waterloo and Clapham Junction approximately every 20 minutes and the journey time is 25 minutes.
Esher station is approximately 10 minutes flat walk from the main entrance. Alternatively there is a taxi rank and a free Sandown Park minibus to and from the train station, running every 15 minutes until 90 minutes after the last race.
By air: Sandown Park has a helipad - available by request. London airports Heathrow and Gatwick are approximately 12 and 25 miles away by road respectively.
ADMISSION TO SANDOWN RACECOURSE
Premier Enclosure £22-£40, Grandstand £15-£24; concessions apply for old aged pensioners and students. Accompanied under 16s free (music nights excluded). Car Park: Parking is free in the centre of the racecourse, which you can reach from the More Lane entrance. For a £5 fee you can book your car into the main car park off the Portsmouth Road.
Sandown Park Racecourse hosts year-round jump and flat horse racing, including premier events such as the Coral Eclipse and Tingle Creek race meetings and evening racing.

Flat: The course is a right-handed oval 1 mile 5 furlongs 33 yards in circumference. The Station end is banked up, and the straight run-in is 4 furlongs. There is a straight 5 furlong course and the Coral-Eclipse Course is 1¼ miles. Draw Advantage - high numbers in sprints in far side stalls, soft or large fields. NH: A testing right-handed course of 1 mile 5 furlongs with an uphill finish. There are seven fences along the back straight, with the water jump in the middle of the line. Run-in 220 yards.
