Warwick Racecourse is situated near to Warwick Castle, and the racecourse is one of the oldest in the country and with racing having taken place on site since the 1700s.
HOW TO GET TO WARWICK RACECOURSE
By road: Racecourse postcode for SAT NAV: CV34 6HN
Warwick Racecourse is easily accessible from a number of main routes: M40 (Junction 15), M42, M5 and M6.
During 2010 there will be major road works at Junction 15 of the M40 and in the event of any problems we advise leaving at Junction 13 taking the A425 to Warwick. From the North leave the A46 at the A425 exit.
The course ise located on Hampton Street which is just off the A429 as you enter Warwick.
By rail:
Warwick Racecourse is served by two stations, both of which are on the Chiltern line. Warwick Parkway is a 10 minute taxi ride from the racecourse, whilst Warwick station is located in the town, a 20 minute walk from the racecourse.
By air: Birmingham and Coventry Airports are both found within a 30 minute drive of the racecourse. With prior permission, helicopters can land on the course on racedays only.
By bus: A range of Stagecoach Bus Services run to the course on a daily basis. Please check their web site and timetables directly.

Flat: The long course is left-handed, nearly circular and the distance around is 1 mile 6 furlongs and 32 yards. The mile course is perfectly striaght for thew first 4½ furlongs and the "straight run-in" is about 2 furlongs. Draw Advantage: high numbers when soft up to 1 mile combined with a smart start.
NH: The left-handed circuit is 1¾ miles long. There are only two fences in the short home straight. Run-in is 250 yards.
