FFos Las is the first new National Hunt and Flat Turf racecourse to be built in the United Kingdom for 80 years. Ffos Las racecourse is located approximately 5 miles from Llanelli, 15 miles from Carmarthen, 17 miles from Swansea, 90 miles from Chepstow and 207 miles from London.
HOW TO GET TO FFOS LAS RACECOURSE
By road:
FROM THE EAST – Take Junction 48 (M4) joining the A4138 to Llanelli and follow the brown signs.
FROM THE WEST – Follow the A40 to Carmarthen, then the A484 to Llanelli and follow the brown signs.
FROM CROSS HANDS – Take the A476 towards Llanelli and follow the brown signs.
By rail: The nearest train stations to the Ffos Las Racecourse are:
Kidwelly (4 miles), Llanelli (5 miles) or Carmarthen (15 miles)
By bus: First Cymru operate a Monday to Saturday bus service from Llanelli to Carmarthen (No 197) that will drop off at the entrance to the racecourse.
Edwards Coaches and Silcox Coaches both operate return coaches, including your Admission Ticket from a range of convenient pick up points.
By air: Helicopter landing facilities are available on request at the racecourse.
Pembrey Airport is only 3 miles from Ffos Las Racecourse and offers a range of Commercial Aircraft and Helicopter charters. If you are arriving via the airport, they can arrange a taxi service to the racecourse.
ADMISSION TO FFOS LAS RACECOURSE
Tickets range from £12-£20. (Discounts apply for pre-booking, and a £2 discount per ticket is available for group bookings of 20 people or more. UK Service Personnel also receive a discount). All children 16 and under and admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult. Car Park: All car parking is free of charge
