Fontwell Park Racecourse has a unique figure of eight track adds to the excitement of Jump Racing. It is located on the A27 between the towns of Arundel and Chichester, approximately 62 miles from London, 26 miles from Portsmouth and 38 miles from Southampton.
HOW TO GET TO FONTWELL RACECOURSE
By road:
Fontwell Park Racecourse is situated on the A27/A29 roundabout between Chichester and Arundel. Access to the main car park on racedays is from Fontwell Avenue (A29 towards Bognor Regis), the entrance is 400 yards from the roundabout on the right hand side.
By rail: The nearest station is Barnham. Trains run regularly from London Victoria, Portsmouth, Brighton, Barnham, Winchester and Southampton. Arundel Station is also just three miles from the track. On racedays, a shuttle bus service runs between Barnham station and the racecourse (£2 return), starting from 2 hours prior to the first race and returning immediately after the last.
By air: With prior permission, helicopters can land on the course on racedays. Light aircraft can land by arrangement with either Goodwood Airfield (01243 755061) or Shoreham Airport (01273 296900).
ADMISSION TO FONTWELL RACECOURSE
Grandstand & Paddock: From £10-15. All children 16 and under and admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult. Car Park: Main car park is free of charge, Centre Course Picnic Car Park £5 plus admission.
