This will be the last match played by CFR Cluj in 2010 as the Romanian Liga 1 officials announced that they have postponed the last stage because of bad weather conditions.

CFR Cluj’s previous home game turned out to be a total letdown for their fans, conceding 4 goals from 2010 UCL finalists Bayern Munich. CFR was not prepared for a competition of this magnitude, their 2010 campaign being even worse than their previous one in 2008.
AS Roma (2nd W3 D0 L2)
Claudio Ranieri brought all his star players to Cluj, saying that he is not interested about the other game from the group because they have to win here.
Either a win or draw would sew up qualification for AS Roma, if they were to lose, however, Basel could overtake them by winning at a Bayern side already assured top spot.
Roma won here in 2008, taking revenge after a 2-1 defeat at Olimpico. Matteo Brighi and Francesco Totti struck early goals and although Yssouf Koné halved the deficit, Brighi made sure with his second of the night in that game.
Roma are looking to qualify for the UCL’s latter stages for the fourth time in five seasons and go into the game seeking a third straight victory after winning 3-2 in Basel on Matchday 4, then beating Bayern by the same score.
The Betting Verdict
CFR won’t have a great support, it will probably be one of the matches with the lowest attendance from the competition, the tickets were quite expensive, CFR has no chances to qualify but the most important impediment will be the weather, it’s quite cold in Cluj at this time of the year.
It will be difficult for CFR’s players to concentrate on this game as they have nothing but pride to play for. Most players hope for a transfer and without a head coach I don’t know what will motivate them.
AS Roma on the other hand is in a good form lately despite being equalized by Chievo after leading 2-0 on Saturday and I think they should win this without major difficulties as there is an obvious difference in class between the two teams.
