Marseille currently occupy 2nd place in the French Ligue 1 table and six points adrift of the league leaders, PSG, and if the hosts can finally gain greater consistency on home soil at their Orange Vélodrome, then a possible title challenge may not be out of the question.

Recent results have been fairly inconsistent overall though as Marseille have registered just two wins within their last five games, whilst also slipping to two defeats and being involved in a draw.
