Lille return to the home surroundings of their Decathlon Arena for Friday night’s clash at home against Brest with the hosts looking to extend their unbeaten run in the French top flight to 10 games overall.

Four wins and six draws have helped lift Lille into 4th place in the Ligue 1 table and another three points here on Friday night would lift the hosts level on points with both Marseille and Monaco prior to this weekend’s action.

The visitors had previously slumped to defeats at the hands of Nice, Montpellier and Monaco respectively but results overall so far in this season’s Ligue 1 campaign have been a mixed bag for Eric Roy’s side.

Five wins, one draw but also seven losses within their opening 13 games overall this term suggests this upcoming trip to the Decathlon Arena to take on a solid looking Lille outfit looks to be a tough assignment for the visitors.

Indeed, Brest have lost five of the last six outings on the road in Ligue 1 so it looks like Eric Roy’s side will have their work cut out here on Friday night.
