Como continued their impressive revival in the Italian top flight over the weekend when I Lariani registered a 1-0 win away from home at Parma, making it five league wins on the trot in Serie A and Cesc Fàbregas’ side will be eager to make it six on the bounce when they welcome Cagliari to their Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Saturday afternoon.

Having suffered recent defeats at the hands of Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Udinese respectively, Cagliari may well require further use of this points cushion as they make their way to the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on the back of just two wins from their last 11 matches overall.

Rare wins against Monza and Verona have been swamped by slipping to six defeats in the process while three of these six defeats were incurred on their travels with losses at Bologna, Roma and Inter Milan.
