Bristol City will be aiming to make it three wins on the trot in the Championship on Sunday afternoon when they welcome lowly Oxford United to Ashton Gate and depending upon results on Saturday, The Robins could go top of the table with all three points.

Despite being dumped out of the EFL Cup by Premier League side Fulham 2-0, Bristol City have since posted back-to-back wins in the Championship at the expense of Hull City 4-2 and a 3-0 win on the road at Sheffield Wednesday.

Seven goals in their last two league games suggest Bristol City could prove to be too strong in attack for their struggling visitors, Oxford United.

Onto Oxford United and The U’s currently sit third from bottom in the Championship table and therefore amongst the relegation zone ahead of this tough looking trip to the west country on Sunday afternoon.

Gary Rowett’s side have still yet to register their first league win of the season as the visitors have drawn twice but also lost three of their opening five games of this campaign and although The U’s have picked up points in draws with Coventry City and Leicester City in their last two games, they have also been handed three defeats.
