Their 2-1 win over Preussen Munster was their second in a row before this match, so they travel to Bochum in good spirits.

Their away form is also good – 7 of their 11 points came at away stadiums. Hertha Berlin is unbeaten in three consecutive away matches, drawing against SV Darmstadt 98 and winning on the last two trips against Hannover 96 and Nurnberg (both clear 0-3 wins).
