St.Pauli’s second consecutive Bundesliga season looks tougher than their first one. They opened with three unbeaten games (two wins), but have since dropped dramatically, losing all their last three matches against VfB Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen, and Werder Bremen.

At their Millerntor stadium, the atmosphere is electric, and that energy often carries them through. They play brave, open football, which makes for entertaining games, but they are conceding in all the games they play.

St.Pauli will surely come out swinging here in front of their home fans, which will also expose them once again.

TSG Hoffenheim

TSG Hoffenheim showed excellent displays in wins against Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin earlier in the season, but is now on a run of three straight winless games (two defeats, one draw).

Their latest defeat came at home, 0-1 against Koln, so now they’ll seek to bounce back.

TSG Hoffenheim are an entertaining side, but they have already conceded 12 goals in the past six games. Still, an interesting fact is that they are still unbeaten at away stadiums so far, winning twice and drawing once in their three matches.

If they manage to absorb St. Pauli’s early pressure, they’ve got the quality to punish on the counter.

Forward Fisnik Asllani has been their top player so far, scoring four goals in six games. He also scored the decisive goal for Kosovo against Sweden in the 0-1 away victory in World Cup qualifications, proving his good form before this game once again.

The Betting Verdict

St.Pauli won both duels against TSG Hoffenheim last season without conceding. This one should be different, and it looks like it's going to be more lively - both sides like to attack, and neither can really defend.
