Augsburg are unbeaten in two, but I am unimpressed with how they play this season. Recently, they suffered four consecutive defeats before winning 3-1 against Wolfsburg and playing a 1-1 draw last week against Koln.

Sandro Wagner’s men are now three points above the relegation zone, but are likely to struggle there for the bigger part of this season.

Their next three games are exceptionally tough. First comes RB Leipzig, then Borussia Dortmund and then VfB Stuttgart.

Augsburg’s scoring has been okay this season, but allowing 14 goals in just seven games is a little too much.

RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig’s unbeaten run stretched to six games last weekend. They beat Hamburger SV 2-1, which was their fifth win in their last six Bundesliga matches.

They have been playing good, flowing, attacking football in the past weeks, so they travel to Augsburg full of confidence.

RB Leipzig’s only defeat this season came against the champions Bayern Munich in their first away game. Since then, they have won twice on the road and drawn the most recent away match with 1-1 against Borussia Dortmund.

The Betting Verdict

RB Leipzig’s head-to-head record against Augsburg is impressive! They remained unbeaten in 17 of the 18 Bundesliga duels against them (10 wins, seven draws).

More recently, RB Leipzig is undefeated in six straight matches against Augsburg, winning three and drawing three.

Augsburg is weaker than last season and are tipped to battle against relegation until the end.

Remaining unbeaten in their last two games gave Augsburg some confidence, but RB Leipzig’s form has been impressive, and I expect them to win this match by scoring a couple of goals.
