Lorient have bounced back from a previous 3-2 loss at home to Strasbourg in the French top flight by collecting an impressive point by way of a 2-2 draw away from home at Ligue 1 title-winners PSG along with last week’s comprehensive 4-0 win away from home at already-relegated Metz.

Recent results have been something of a mixed bag for Olivier Pantaloni’s side who have registered three wins, three draws as well as being dealt three defeats, but this sequence includes picking up wins on home soil at their Stade Yves Allainmat-Le Moustoir with victories over Lens and Marseille.

Lorient’s current 9th place in the Ligue 1 table though has been largely built upon a solid and stubborn home record which stands at 8-6-2 31/23 so far this season.
