Since beating Leicester City 4-0, Everton had drawn 4 League games in succession at Goodison Park, but had that record snapped in the 0-2 defeat to Manchester City last time out here.
Armando Broja is available for selection having been ineligible last weekend, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still pushing to return before the end of the campaign.

Relegation has felt inevitable for a while and Kieran McKenna is another manager who may already have some idea of what he wants to do with his Ipswich Town squad when the summer transfer window opens up. Twelve months ago he was being linked with a potential appointment at Chelsea or Manchester United, but the feeling now is that McKenna will want to guide Ipswich Town back up into the Premier League next season.
None of the fans will be disappointed with the efforts made by Ipswich Town, but they have lacked quality even if they are likely to finish the highest of the three promoted teams from twelve months ago. They are 3 points ahead of Leicester City in that race and Ipswich Town will make a long journey to the North West with a 3-5-9 away record.
Ipswich Town were reduced to ten men for a second fixture in a row and they have been beaten in 3 of their last 4 Premier League games in their slump back into the Championship. Last weekend The Tractor Boys had been competitive before the sending off and were subsequently beaten 3-0 at Newcastle United. Prior to that, Ipswich Town had picked up four points from away League fixtures at Bournemouth and Chelsea.
Ben Johnson joins Leif Davis in serving bans, while Axel Tuanzebe and Kalvin Phillips are doubts. A host of players remain on the injury list ahead of this fixture.

Kieran McKenna has to be given credit for instilling more fight in Ipswich Town compared with Leicester City and Southampton and more so considering the back to back promotions that have guided The Tractor Boys back amongst the elite.
Avoiding the drop was always going to be difficult, but this is a solid experience for Ipswich Town and the challenge will be to bounce back immediately. The Championship is never easy to compete in- just ask Luton Town- but Ipswich Town may feel they are more settled than most dropping back into the second tier and Kieran McKenna will just be asking for a strong end to the campaign to build momentum to take into next season.
Ultimately there has been a serious talent gap and even a club like Everton feel much stronger than Ipswich Town.
The 17 points between the teams says more than the three places that separates them, but Everton look plenty short to win this match. David Moyes' team have won 1 of their last 9 games in the Premier League and continue to struggle for goals, even if competing with Ipswich Town and the suspensions that the visitors have in defensive areas.
Everton did score four against Leicester City at home and were pretty comfortable winners at Portman Road, but the Ipswich Town have been more competitive on their travels. Before the sending off last week at St James' Park, Ipswich Town continued to show resiliency on their travels and had previously beaten Bournemouth and drawn at Chelsea.
They are not easy to back, as are none of the three relegated clubs, but Ipswich Town should have enough to avoid a heavy defeat. This is the penultimate game at Goodison Park, but Everton have not been in the best of recent form and even a solitary Ipswich Town goal may be enough to avoid a defeat.
Backing the away team with the start should at least earn a push, even if they were to lose, and that looks the best angle to play in what is a tough game to call.
