They lost 2-1 at Sassuolo and then played 2-2 in Rome against Lazio in the first leg of the cup semifinals. Note the two goals conceded in each game. Defence certainly isn't Atalanta's forte recently.
If anyone needs remembering, this is an offensive side that's always playing on the front foot and looking to score, it's their identity, and this seems to be a rebuild season for them but they still have a chance to make it to the Champions League. They're 2 points behind Juventus (Conference League spot), 3 points behind Como (Europa League) and 6 points behind Roma (Champions League). That's it, the battle is between these four teams, and Atalanta is the worst contender at the moment. They need a series of wins.

Udinese is a nasty side to play against, and their results are all over the place because they're either a bad fit for the opponent, or the opponent is a bad fit for them - regardless of the factual quality.
