Roma just had a very difficult away match against Fiorentina in which they were inferior and got an undeserved point with a last-gasp goal. The 2-2 doesn't tell the real story of how impressive did Fiorentina look against this side that will obviously still struggle on travels for some time to come.

Not at home, though. Roma has been a real force on Stadio Olimpico, as Brighton & Hove Albion learned ten days ago in a 4-0 defeat. Even during their days of poor form Roma would always perform at home, and they're certainly performing now when they're in a good period under Daniele De Rossi.

Sassuolo

Sassuolo just got an important 1-0 home win against Frosinone that gives them a chance to escape from the relegation zone, but they're still in it by two points. The abysmal away record of Sassuolo doesn't give this side any hope for doing something in Rome, especially as this team is in a long slump that has now just been interrupted with a win against the worst visitor in the league. Sassuolo has a mountain to climb if they want to be in the league next year, and it won't be easy to do if Domenico Berardi doesn't return soon. Without him, this team just lacks the punch.

Paulo Dybala is injured so Baldanzi will take his place. For Sassuolo, two important players Doig and Thorstvedt are suspended, and Domenico Berardi still isn't back.
