Eintracht Frankfurt is currently fourth in the Bundesliga, having won three of their five Bundesliga games to date. They are also the second-best scorers, with 17 goals in five games, right behind Bayern Munich.

Most of those goals came last week, when they played an unbelievable game for the ages. They beat Borussia Monchengladbach 4-6! away, with them already leading 0-5 at half-time.

One thing to note is that Can Uzun has been the most impressive player so far, scoring in all of Eintracht Frankfurt's Bundesliga games this season. If you are looking for a goalscorer bet, he is a very solid pick.

I don’t think their coach, Topmoller, will change much from the formation that they played last week, with all players fit and ready for this big duel.

However, some small rotation is possible, especially after Eintracht Frankfurt lost 5-1 to Atletico Madrid last Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League.

Eintracht Frankfurt has a negative overall record against Bayern Munich in recent years, but still managed to remain unbeaten in the last two games played in Frankfurt. They hammered Bayern Munich 5-1 in December 2023, and last season they played a 3-3 draw exactly a year ago.

Bayern Munich rolls over everyone they play, so this is one of their best and most impressive starts. In the Bundesliga, they won five in a row with a mind-blowing goal difference of 22:3!

Most recently, they won 4-0 against Werder Bremen last weekend, before recording another high victory in the UEFA Champions League, 1-5 away against Pafos.

Harry Kane scored twice in the midweek game and now already has 17 goals in nine competitive matches for Bayern Munich this season. In the Bundesliga, he has scored 10 so far and is on his way to achieving new records this season.

Speaking of scoring, Bayern Munich are on a Bundesliga run of 13 games in which they scored twice or more.

The Betting Verdict

Bayern Munich should win again, but those are low odds, and do not seem very attractive.

Eintracht Frankfurt has done well against them in their last two home games, so there is some chance they might remain unbeaten at home again.

Instead, I will focus on goals here. There were 3+ goals scored in 16 of the last 18 duels between the teams across all competitions.
