I rate Mainz higher than Hamburger SV and certainly better than their current standing. Despite a poor start, Mainz should soon return to better results and get more points.

The midweek European win would likely improve their mood, and I believe they are closer to points. However, Hamburger SV can be a tricky side, having remained unbeaten in their last two games, and they may frustrate Mainz.

I would add the draw as a possible outcome here and suggest backing Mainz on a double-chance bet.
