The latest came at Villa Park against Wolves and everyone associated with the club will be looking to keep the positive run going and especially just days before leaders Arsenal visit the West Midlands.

The latest three points earned has pushed Aston Villa into 4th place and the form has begun to get the attention of the media with some suggesting they could become a title challenger. For the manager, the focus is to make sure Aston Villa keep things ticking over before potentially adding to the squad in the January transfer window, much as they did last season. The Villans travel to the South Coast with a 2-2-2 away record in the top flight.

Aston Villa have now won 5 games in a row in all competitions since losing at Anfield and that has meant moving into solid positions both in the Premier League and Europa League standings.
