Werder Bremen arrive winless in three Bundesliga matches and were edged out 3-2 by Hamburger SV last weekend.

Their away form continues to drag them down, but at home it’s a completely different story. Eleven of their 16 points have come at the Weserstadion, where they have built one of the more reliable home records in the Bundesliga.

This fixture simply doesn’t do 0-0. In 56 Bundesliga meetings in Bremen, there has never been a goalless draw, and Werder Bremen have scored in every single one of those matches.

Werder Bremen have remained unbeaten in five of the last six against VfB Stuttgart overall (three wins, two draws), and I believe this game has the potential for a surprise.
