Derby County will be going in search of back-to-back wins in the Championship on Sunday afternoon when they play host to Wrexham at Pride Park following The Rams’ recent 1-0 home win against promotion hopefuls, Middlesbrough.

Recent results overall for Derby County have generally been pretty solid for John Eustace’s side as the east midlands hosts have slipped to just three defeats within their last 10 league matches in the domestic second tier.

Losses at the hands of Middlesbrough and Leicester City (home and away) have seen the upcoming hosts lose on their travels but Derby County have also secured recent wins against Sheffield Wednesday and aforementioned Middlesbrough as well.

However, the Welsh visitors had failed to win any of their preceding five games overall in the Championship as The Dragons had been involved in three draws as well as being dealt two defeats in the process.

Points picked up in draws with Blackburn Rovers, Preston NE and Watford were overshadowed by defeats at the hands of Hull City and Swansea City, both of which were incurred on their travels while the visitors’ record away from home stands at a disappointing 3-5-4 12/12.
