Tranmere Rovers will be looking to pick up where they left off in League Two on Saturday afternoon when they return to Prenton Park for this upcoming fixture against the league leaders, Bromley.

There was no action at all in the English fourth tier last weekend due to postponements but Tranmere Rovers had previously registered a solid 2-0 win away from home at bottom club Harrogate Town and having recently picked up wins against the likes of Barrow and Fleetwood Town, Andy Crosby’s side look to have a chance of getting something out of this clash.

The hosts have collected three wins but have also slipped to three defeats within their last six league matches overall, while a home record of 3-5-4 16/18 at least seems to give Rovers a chance of at least a point here.

Bromley extended their impressive winning streak in League Two to six games on the trot last time out as the Kent club recorded a 2-1 home win against Newport County to hand Andy Woodman’s side a two-point lead over 2nd placed Swindon Town but more importantly, a five-point cushion above 4th placed Salford City.

Three of Bromley’s recent six wins were achieved on their travels with important victories gained on the road at Accrington Stanley, Bristol Rovers and Crawley Town respectively, so the visitors will be in confident mood ahead of this upcoming trip to Prenton Park.

However, results away from home have not all gone Bromley’s way as their away record of 6-2-4 16/14 indicates and having won just 50% of their away games so far this season, this may give Tranmere Rovers a fighting chance of a point on Saturday.
