Inter Milan will be looking to put an end to Arsenal’s 100% winning record in the Champions League on Tuesday night when the two sides go head-to-head at the San Siro in what is a top six clash in the league phase of this competition.

Inter Milan themselves are currently enjoying an impressive six-match unbeaten run in the Italian top flight with Cristian Chivu’s side collecting no fewer than five victories within this period and in turn helping the hosts to a three-point lead at the top of the Serie A table.

On the domestic front, Inter have lost just twice in their 11 home games to date while winning two of their three home ties in the Champions League this season with victories gained over Slavia Prague and Kairat Almaty.

Arsenal also sit top of their respective Premier League where The Gunners hold a commanding seven-point lead over 2nd placed Manchester City and also a three-point lead at the top of the Champions League table over 2nd placed Bayern Munich ahead of matchday 7.

Within Arsenal’s impressive six-match winning streak in this season’s Champions League, Mikel Arteta’s side have collected wins on the road at Athletic Club, Slavia Prague and Club Brugge on their way to claiming top spot.

However, it should be noted that these away wins were against teams languishing in the lower half of the Champions League table, sitting in 28th, 33rd and 30th places respectively.

Therefore, a much tougher challenge is expected to await Arsenal at the San Siro on Tuesday night.
