Eintracht Frankfurt enter this match following the dismissal of Dino Toppmöller, after a disappointing run that saw them take just one win in their last seven Bundesliga games while conceding 17 goals, including three in each of their last three games.

The Eagles are now under temporary management by Under-21 coach Dennis Schmitt and former striker Alexander Meier, with Schmitt taking the lead.

Eintracht Frankfurt returns to Bundesliga action after their unfortunate 3-2 loss to FK Qarabag in the Champions League, which ended their hopes of progressing in the competition. A home tie against Tottenham Hotspur remains next week, but it will be just a formality in their dismal European campaign.

TSG Hoffenheim's attack and midfield balance have been strong, but their away form certainly must improve if they are serious in their pursuit of Champions League places.
