Carlisle United will be eager to halt a three-match sequence without a win overall on Saturday afternoon when they play host to bottom half outfit Altrincham at Brunton Park having suffered losses to Chatham (FA Trophy) and York City (National League) either side of a 3-3 draw away from home at Solihull Moors.

Altrincham currently occupy 17th place in the National League table and the visitors will make their way up to Carlisle for Saturday’s clash with renewed hope and optimism following last weekend’s 3-1 home win against Boreham Wood.
