QPR may be sitting in 13th place in the Championship table but the London club are still only three points adrift of the play-off pack ahead of Saturday afternoon’s encounter against relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers when the two sides clash at Loftus Road.

A recent spate of draws have prevented QPR from lifting themselves up into the top half of the table and making inroads into the top six following stalemates with Stoke City, Oxford United and Charlton Athletic respectively, along with a 3-2 loss at home to Wrexham but also a 2-1 home win against Coventry City.

Having managed to collect just two wins in their last nine games overall though in the domestic second tier, The R’s will no doubt be keen to make the most of a poor Blackburn Rovers outfit here.

Blackburn Rovers sit third from bottom in the Championship table but the visitors are level on points with fourth from bottom outfit Leicester City ahead of this upcoming trip to the nation’s capital on Saturday afternoon.

The Lancashire club have registered just one win in their last 10 matches in the Championship and the visitors are now bracing themselves for a relegation dogfight for the remainder of this campaign as interim manager Damien Johnson looks to steer them to safety.

However, having slipped to five defeats and involved in four stalemates, the prospects of a Rovers win here at Loftus Road look highly unlikely but an away record of 5-3-7 12/18 suggests the visitors could at least get on the scoresheet on Saturday.
