As recently as early January, Stoke City were sitting in 8th place in the Championship table and just one point shy of the play-off pack but fast-forward to this week and The Potters find themselves in 14th place where they trail 6th placed Derby County by a five-point margin.

Mark Robins’ side have now failed to win any of their last six games in the domestic second tier which has seen Stoke City suffer losses at the hands of Middlesbrough, Southampton and Charlton Athletic.

These defeats have outweighed the points that Stoke had gained in draws with QPR, Birmingham City and West Brom but the hosts know they have a great chance to restore their form at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday lunchtime when a beleaguered Leicester City visit.

Such has been the alarming decline of Leicester City in recent times that The Foxes find themselves in the relegation zone in the Championship table and two points behind fourth from bottom club West Brom.

In addition, an away record of 4-4-8 21/28 hardly inspires confidence in The Foxes being able to secure a result on Saturday lunchtime.
