SC Freiburg is going through ups and downs, and this is one of their most average seasons ever. They are likely to end up somewhere in mid-table in the end, away from European football, but safe above the bottom spots.

Borussia Mönchengladbach was beaten 3-0 by Eintracht Frankfurt last week, their sixth straight winless match (three defeats, three draws). Now they sit only three points above the relegation spots, with 12 matches remaining this season.

One reason Borussia Mönchengladbach remains above the drop zone is their relatively solid away form. They have won more games away (three) than in their home stadium (two) so far.

The Betting Verdict

SC Freiburg is unbeaten in six consecutive Bundesliga duels against Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning three and drawing three.

Although SC Freiburg have played mostly poorly recently in their away games, let’s not forget they are unbeaten in nine games at home, winning all their last four, so they look pretty decent bet to me to beat out-of-sorts Borussia Mönchengladbach this Sunday afternoon.
