Exeter City slumped to a fifth league defeat on the trot and indeed a sixth loss in seven games overall in League One last Saturday when The Grecians were dealt a 2-0 loss away from home at fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic, leaving the west country hosts sitting just above the relegation zone but only by goal difference.
