Leicester City had to settle for just a point last weekend in the Championship when The Foxes shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw away from home at Watford but despite that point, Gary Rowett’s side still remain in the relegation zone.

The bigger picture shows the east midlands club have continued to struggle for results despite installing former Birmingham City and Oxford United manager, Gary Rowett, in the Leicester City hot seat as the hosts have managed to capture just one win in their last 13 league matches.

It’s been a dramatic fall from grace for Leicester City who not so long ago were basking in almost unbelievable glory having grabbed the Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri, but a rather poor home record of 7-4-8 26/28 this season has dumped The Foxes into a relegation dogfight.

Preston NE meanwhile currently enjoy mid-table security in the Championship table as the visitors sit in 13th place and although Paul Heckingbottom’s side had also endured a worrying winless run of seven matches in the second tier, The Lilywhites registered a welcome 3-1 home win against Stoke City last weekend.

Preston had previously suffered five defeats within their preceding seven games in the Championship but although they hit the road again on Good Friday, Heckingbottom’s side will fancy their chances of picking up something from this upcoming trip to the King Power Stadium.

The Lancashire club do not possess a particularly strong looking record away from home which currently stands at 5-7-7 19/25 but they should at least avoid defeat in the east midlands on Friday afternoon.
